Brentwood-carrier-infiinity-acBrentwood Veterans Win Big
Trustee George Martinez announced today the Brentwood Veterans Memorial Building in Brentwood California, will receive a $50,000 stimulus package. The landmark building is 84 years old and in desperate need of repairs. It stands prominently on the corner of First and Maple and has been a welcome retreat for veterans and their families since World War I. The new stimulus package is designed to renovate the Veteran’s Hall in order to bring the building up to American’s Disability Code (ADA) compliance.

The Brentwood community plans to better serve the veterans living in their city. The Memorial building will be refurbished with proper functioning and energy efficient heating and air-conditioning units. An upgraded kitchen and redesigned bathroom facilities are also part of the plan. Other cosmetic alterations should also contribute to the overall appearance of the Brentwood Veterans Memorial Building.
