Encino-carrier-infiinity-acEncino Fire Station Gets Makeover
It’s the third anniversary of the grand opening of Encino Fire Station 83, located on 4960 Balboa Boulevard. The first Engine Company 83 was established during World War II, in 1942. The building was first constructed in the 16900 block of Ventura Boulevard, now known as Encino Park.

The building stood strong for close to 60 years, but the electrical, mechanical, and plumbing problems took over. Since the land was too small to accommodate the size of the new planned fire station, the lot was moved right across the street.

In 2004, construction on the site started and ended just two years later. The new and improved Fire Station 843 comfortable houses the fire fighters, with upgraded air conditioning units and plumbing facilities.
