Westlake Village Hotels Take a Turn

It was just two short year ago, when the well-established Green Lodging News announced that over 300 hotels around the country had been certified as "green." J.D. Power and Associates, based out of Westlake Village, verified the numbers, touting local city hotels had also made the grade.

The increased interest in eco-hotels has continued with the "green" renovations of existing buildings, and the implementation of new "green" construction designs. Hotel guests have long been expressing their concern for the environment, while questioning the eco-saviness of hotels prior to registration.

Westlake Village has taken notice of the "green" hotel trend, by accommodating guests in an eco-friendly environment. Energy-efficient air conditioners, cost-effective landscaping, and recycling methods will be applied to meet the "green" code. Across the country, environmental initiatives have flourished, with hotels and guests benefiting from their "greener" surroundings.
